nuSun Design was conceived after the completion of the website for DsylProductions. It became quickly apparent that web design could be an asset to the company in addition to the music production we currently provide. Rather than market the design as part of Dsylproductions which is geared to singers and musicians, it was decided to broaden the vision to provide low cost web design to the general public.

The name “nuSun” was inspired by Malachi 4:2. The concept is one of rebirth. All possible variations of New Birth, (Nu Birth, etc. ) seem to be widely used and therefore we decided, not impacting enough. Influenced by the extensive involvement in popular music, being a product of DsylProductions, the “nu” spelling was adapted. The ambiguous reference to “Sun” in the scripture lead to the capitalization in the center as opposed to the beginning.

The spelling also leads to even more ambiguity - the “Son” should remain center and foremost in our lives. Many times we put Him first and then leave Him behind. To add to the intrigue behind the name, nuSun is the same forwards and backwards. The logo above signifies the sun rising just as the Son of righteousness (shall) arise with healing in His wings.
